Under Art Hale's leadership, American Racing grew to become the largest custom wheel company in the United States. By 1988, they were producing nearly 200,000 wheels annually. Even after selling the company, both Art Hale Sr. and Art Hale Jr. remained involved as President and Vice President respectively.

Art Hale Jr., having learned every facet of wheel production from his father, continued to innovate in the industry. After launching new brands under MHT Luxury Alloys, he introduced Concept Neeper with designer Mark Neeper at the helm. This brand revolutionized custom wheels, introducing bold design elements and pioneering larger sizes like the first 20" passenger car wheel before such tires even existed.

Art Hale Jr.'s pursuit of innovation didn't stop there. He collaborated with renowned designer Chip Foose to create Foose Wheels and introduced Niche Road Wheels for performance vehicles. Pushing boundaries further, he launched the DUB brand, producing larger and larger wheels and inspiring tire companies to develop sizes to match.

In 2010, Art Hale Jr. proudly reacquired the US Mags brand and logo his father started with all those years ago.
